Preparations for the world recognised competition began in late 2016, following a successful year for the Jim Blurton team at the YFEDA Four Man Team World Championships in October 2016 and the Royal Bath & West Show in June 2017.

The team was supported throughout their training by worldwide farriery expert Jim Blurton and his team, with additional support and sponsorship provided by Silverback Chaps – providing the team with branded lightweight chaps and workwear.

The event provided the perfect opportunity to showcase the expert range of Jim Blurton Specialist Horseshoes and Farrier Tools, as well as giving the team the chance to see some of the world’s top farriers at work.
