Lower House Equine Clinic are excited to now offer a fixed day each month with remedial farrier Jim Blurton

Vet Simon Woods and Jim have worked on cases together previously and now offer this regular service.

What the clinic will offer

– Lameness and foot assessment for current clients of LHEC and Jim Blurton

– Referral from other farriers for Jim Blurton, working alongside your current farrier

– Referral from other clinics for lameness work ups and shoeing issues

First date is Thursday 3rd December 2020.

Lower House Equine Clinic opened its doors in October 2016 aiming to provide the local horse population with a new bespoke veterinary service on a smaller personal scale.

The clinic now has over 2000 patients registered. They have the latest diagnostic equipment and full surgical facilities which means  they can provide the ultimate service.

Jim Blurton Equine Podiatrist info

Jim is an acclaimed Equine Podiatrist dedicated to improving horse performance. With over 40 years’ experience running a successful farrier business in the UK Jim continues to design, craft, test and hone a range of specialist remedial horseshoes. He works with clients across the globe delivering a range of expert services that focus on the treatment and prevention of diseases of the equine foot to improve performance in show jumping, eventing, dressage and race horses.

Jim was the head farrier at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics, he has represented his country for 35 years in home internationals and world team events. He has won over 200 competitions worldwide. After nearly 15 years of regularly finishing in the top 5 at the world championships Jim was crowned world champion in Calgary, July 2005.
